After being awarded additional funds from CUPPAD and the Artplace grant, The Power of Words Project has expanded into a Central UP Arts Initiative called UPlift…We are adding large public murals in Gladstone, Manistique and Marquette after having launched in Iron Mountain in 2013, where we have already completed the extraordinary BELIEVE, COMMUNITY, INSPIRE, HOPE and WELCOME murals in addition to the DISCOVER wall, the largest mural in the UP, in Manistique in 2018.  Gladstone’s Rialto building is one of numerous projects we will be tackling this summer.  Voting for the Power of Words Project murals in downtown Gladstone, Michigan has begun for 2019!  Here are our TOP words…
