The first of the Power of Words Project mural was launched in 2012 by Mia Tavonatti and her Svelata Foundation with the help of Senator Curren Price, Laguna Beach Major Jane Edgley and Laguna College of Art + Design President Jonathan Burke. Mia and eight of her mural students from LCAD created this 19’h x 80’w mural after over 1500 locals elected WONDER as the one word they wanted their community to aspire towards.
